Equity Bank of Kenya’s Lipa na M-Pesa paybill number is 247247. Their mobile banking service is dubbed Eazzy 247 thus the paybill number 247247. EQUITY BANK ACCOUNT via M-PESA

M-Pesa asks you for the Pay Bill Number. Enter 247247 which is the Equity bank paybill number. Enter your Equity bank account number, or the account number that you want to transfer money from Mpesa to. Then enter the amount to transfer from Mpesa to the Equity bank account you entered in step 4

How do I reverse mpesa to equity?

The customer should call the contact center on 100 (if calling from Equitel) or 0763 000 100 (if calling from any other network) and request for reversal of the transaction. It will take a maximum of 72 hours, to complete the reversal process, once the verification of the request has been done by the bank.

How do I access mobile banking equity?

Dial *247# on your mobile phone while in Kenya. Reply with your pin. Enter the pin that was sent by the Equity bank and you will then be required to change your pin to a more convenient secure one. A confirmation message will be sent to your phone immediately afterwards while activating Eazzy 247 in Kenya.

The Procedure for depositing money via M-Pesa to your Equity Bank of Kenya account is as follows

Go to M-Pesa menu on your phone, select “Lipa na M-Pesa”
Select “Paybill”
Select “Enter business no.” and enter the 247247 as the business no and press “OK”
Select “Enter account no” i.e. Equity Bank account number (e.g. 0100 xxxx xxxx) and press “OK”
Enter amount i.e. amount you want to deposit and press “OK”
Enter your M-PESA PIN and press “OK”
Confirm all the details are correct and press “OK”
You will receive a verification window from M-Pesa where you have 1 minute to verify that the details are correct, if correct, dismiss or ignore, if wrong, enter the number 1 and press OK to cancel the transaction
You will receive a confirmation SMS from M-Pesa immediately.
