Manage suggested articles When you open a new tab, you’ll find recent bookmarks and suggested “Articles for you.” If you’re signed in to Chrome, suggested articles for you are based on your recent Web & App activity.

On Android
Manage suggested article interests
Important: You must be signed-in to Chrome to use these features.
- To let Chrome better know your interests, tap More
Not interested in [topic] or Not interested in [publisher].
- To manage interests for all your suggested articles, tap More
Manage interests.
Hide suggested articles for you
- On your Android phone, open the Chrome app
.
- Open a new tab.
- Next to “Articles for you,” tap Hide.
Hide or download specific articles
- To remove an article, at the bottom right of the article, tap More
Hide Story.
- To read articles offline:
- Touch and hold the article.
- Tap Download link.

On iPhone & iPad
Turn off suggested articles for you
When you open a new tab, you can scroll to find suggested content like articles and unread items from your reading list. If you’re signed in to Chrome, suggestions are based on your Web & App activity.
To turn off suggested articles:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app

- At the bottom right, tap More
Settings
.
- Turn “Article suggestions” off.
Manage suggested articles
- Swipe left or right to remove an article.
- To read articles offline:
- Touch and hold the article
- Tap Read later.
NOTE You won’t get suggested articles on homepage on your Computer.
