- Select Airtime
- Select own phone if for self or other phone if you are purchasing for another person

- Open the KCB App icon
- Select Airtime
- Select “self” to buy for own phone or “other” to pick recipient from contact list
- Select Airtime Provider, enter Amount and Submit
How to pay your bills using USSD (*522#)
- Dial *522#
- Select Payments
- Select Option 1. Popular Billers
- Select Biller e.g. KPLC postpaid
- Select Account to debit
- Enter Bill Account No e.g. 1234567-01
- Select Pay Total Amount or Pay Partial Amount
- Select Send to pay your bill KCB USSD code or KCB App
How to pay your bill using the KCB App
- Open the KCB App icon
- Select “Make Utility Payment”
- Tap on Popular Bills and Select Biller to pay e.g. K.P.L.C Postpaid
- Enter the Billing account number in the field “Account no”
- Enter the Amount you want to pay
- Select submit to pay your bill KCB USSD code or KCB App
How to transfer money from M-PESA to a KCB account
- Go to your M-PESA menu,
- Select Lipa na M-PESA,
- Enter PayBill number 522522,
- Enter the KCB account number you are transferring money to, enter the amount, and your M-PESA PIN and confirm to send money.
How to Open a KCB M-BENKI
How to open a KCB M-BENKI via M-PESA.
- Go to M-PESA menu
- Select Lipa na M-PESA
- Select Paybill and enter Paybill number 522522
- Under account, type ID(No Space) and your National ID Number e.g. ID123456789
- Enter amount to deposit, and your M-PESA PIN.
- You will receive two SMS’s, one with your KCB M-BENKI Account number and the other with your temporary One Time PIN (OTP). You must change to a 4 digit PIN immediately. Always keep your PIN secret and never share it with anybody. KCB USSD code or KCB App
